Little did I know that my journey would lead me to MTV and the exhilarating world of television. It all began with ad films and gradually transitioned to hosting shows on Zee. But the pivotal moment came when I received a call to participate in MTV’s Vijay Hunt—an opportunity that would change the course of my career.
The Golden Era of MTV India
I fondly reminisce about the transformation of MTV India during my time as a VJ. The channel’s programming shifted to reflect Indian youth, giving rise to relatable faces like mine. There was a distinct camaraderie among the VJs, and competition took a back seat. We embraced our Indian roots and became a part of a cultural shift that resonated with the youth of the nation.
Cooking Up a Storm: My Culinary Escapades
My journey didn’t stop with VJing. I ventured into the culinary world, hosting shows like “Do It Sweet” and “I Love Cooking.” My passion for cooking developed when I became a mother and had to whip up delicious meals for my children.
