Chanda is the CEO of Frazer and Haws, a 150 years old British heritage brand that creates heritage pieces which are put together as Art-in-Silver.
Chanda took over the workshop of Frazer and Haws in 1991. Back then, it was an export-oriented unit. She decided to go retail in India to explore the market for sterling silverware and certified jewellery. Today, the silver market is booming in India and Frazer and Haws has several showrooms across the country.
Their clientele includes The Prince of Wales, The Maharaja of Nepal, other heads of state and notable families around the world.
In today’s episode, Chanda tells us how she took on the challenge to reinvent the 300-year-old history of silver making and how according to her, life is always going to be ‘shifting sands.’
